BlueFin Family Park is an exclusive Trailer and RV Park located in Holyrood, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Located 20 minutes from St. John’s exit 36 on the TCH.

BlueFin is a family-owned business that opened in September 2007. It’s new owners, (2015) Dewayne and Irene Fry are continuing to provide excellent grounds keeping and service.

It gets its name from the historic commercial and recreational fishing of the Blue Fin Tuna in the Conception Bay area of of the province. Blue Fin Tuna fishing was a popular recreational sport in the 1950’s through 1970’s. By the early 1970’s, the Blue Fin Tuna numbers were drastically diminished.

Over the years the features and landscape of the park have changed drastically. With the addition of more available sites than ever, a playground, heated swimming pool, as well as conveniences such as the dumping and propane fill-up station, BlueFin is a one-stop-shop for your entire vacation needs.

Throughout the years the dynamic and purpose of the park has also changed, as BlueFin has evolved into a very family-focused facility with several amenities that focus on children, teenagers, and adults alike. Recreation, fitness, and enjoying the great outdoors through fishing and water activities are just some of the great things people enjoy so much about staying here when they’re in the area.

One of its biggest draws, as well, is the close proximity of the park to North America’s oldest city, St. John’s. As the capital city of the province, St. John’s has several major tourism attractions, services, shopping and virtually everything you’d need in a major centre. Many who visit the Metro area in the season seek accommodations that aren’t keeping them bound to a hotel room and the confines of the four walls during their stays.
